"A Cozinha da Casa de Manhufe" ( Manhufe's Kitchen), 1913 Amadeo Souza Cardoso was a painter from Amarante who introduced the modern art in Portugal. Although his work has some cubist influences it is mostly known by his futurist style. I like particularly the " Corpus Christi", its colours, geometric shapes and composition that seem chaotic at first sight, however has something more covered up that is perfectly defined after looking a few minutes.
